BYD group, located in Shenzhen, China, not only manufactures cars, buses and locomotives, but also is one of the largest battery manufacturers in the world. In addition, it also produces electronic products such as smart phones and computers, which is a part of BYD's product segment.

In the autumn of 2022, BYD will launch a series of electric vehicles into the German market, including "Han", a high-end model with almost the same size as Tesla Model s.

BYD Khan, which is almost 5 meters long, runs in the direction of high-end models (German: oberklasse) in the automobile industry. The Coupe type (inclined back type car running) shape, the long cover and the deep lines on both sides were designed by Wolfgang egger, a German design director. He was responsible for the modeling of Alfa Romeo, Audi and Lamborghini. The low light and chrome plated strip on the front face of "Han" were connected with the through tail light belt at the rear.

The interior design is safe but not avant-garde. Fully digital and settable equipment is already a matter of reputation (necessary). A 15.6-inch horizontal touch screen can control multimedia and vehicle functions, such as automatic parking, driving program or audio volume can be controlled by the buttons or regulators surrounding the shift handle on the central console, A high-quality Dynaudio audio system is also optional (depending on the configuration).

BYD "Han" has two configurations, one is FWD and the other is AWD with dual motors. The power of the front drive is 180kW. The four-wheel drive configuration plus the rear motor is 380kW, which provides equivalent "alarm" (power). The four-wheel drive can speed up to 100 km / h in 3.9 seconds, and the front drive takes more than 4 seconds. "Han" is based on the e-platform 3.0 of Chinese (BYD).

These two models are equipped with BYD's blade batteries. The details of this distinctive lithium iron phosphate blade battery can be seen below. It is also the only product of BYD in the market. The "Hanli" is loaded with 85.4kwh blade batteries, with a range of 715km (according to China's road test standards), which is expected to be 400-500km in actual driving.

BYD "Han" can be charged at 120kw with a fast charging pile, and can be charged to 80% within 30 minutes. It is a very good value, but it is not too surprising. In addition, BYD "Han" has an AC socket with the car, which can be used for household charging up to 2kW.

What is particularly exciting is the price at which BYD will enter the German market. In China, the technology and performance of "Han" are quite favorable. According to the subsidies for electric vehicles in China (much less than the environmental protection subsidies in Germany), the "Han" of the pioneer is 269000 yuan, and the "four-wheel drive" is 288600 yuan. According to the current exchange rate, it is about 39200 and 419500 euros.
