Recently, Car Quality Network learned from SAIC GM Wuling that the Wuling Starlight 730 will be officially launched in October. The new car is built on the Tianyu architecture and positioned as a mid size MPV. It adopts a 2+2+3 7-seater layout and offers three power options: fuel version, plug-in hybrid version, and pure electric version.

In terms of appearance, the Wuling Starlight 730 pure electric version adopts a closed grille design, retaining only the lower grille; The fuel version and plug-in hybrid version are equipped with large-sized black intake grilles, decorated with diamond shaped accents inside, creating a sharp visual effect. The square front headlight group is equipped with double horizontal LED daytime running lights inside, which have high recognition. Small air guide ports are also designed on both sides of the front bumper.

The side profile is relatively simple, with a sliding door design and dual tone petal style wheels, creating a certain sense of sportiness. The tail has a strong sense of hierarchy, and the internal light strip design of the tail light group echoes the LED daytime running lights, with a good sense of technology. In terms of body dimensions, the new car measures 4910mm in length, 1850mm in width, and 1770mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2910mm.

In terms of power, the gasoline version is equipped with a 1.5T turbocharged engine with a maximum power of 130kW; the plug-in hybrid version is equipped with a plug-in hybrid system consisting of a 1.5L engine and an electric motor, with a maximum power of 78kW for the engine; and the pure electric version has a maximum power of 100kW for the drive motor. In terms of battery, the new car is equipped with battery packs with capacities of 54.5kWh and 60kWh, corresponding to CLTC pure electric range of 450km and 500km respectively.
