Ning Shuyong participated in Geely's acquisition of Volvo and was a spokesman for the project.
In November 2010, Ning Shuyong joined Volvo China and was in charge of the company's corporate image and brand, product communication, government relations and other businesses.
During his seven years at Volvo, Ning helped revive the company and accelerated the introduction of its domestic models.In terms of marketing, Volvo has created a "safe" product image.
Volvo has also seen some sales growth.Volvo sold 47, 000 cars in China in 2011.Before Mr Ning's departure, Volvo sold 100,000 cars in 2017.
After Volvo, Mr Ning joined Baoneng's Qoros.But just over a year, Ning Shuyong switched to Great Wall Motor.
In early July 2018, Ning Shuyong joined Great Wall Motor and was mainly responsible for the business of Great Wall Pickup and Euler brands, including sales, channel, brand and market communication.
Ning Shuyong is also the general manager of Euler brand.During his tenure, The Euler brand has gone from zero to one.
Great Wall Motor launched euler, an independent new energy vehicle brand, in August 2018.Euler brand mainly for small pure electric SUV market, the audience for the new urban youth.Ning Shuyong was the brand's first general manager.
Euler brand contains two product sequences: iQ and R, and plans to launch four products in succession within three years from 2018 to 2021.Currently, euler has two products on sale, Euler R1 and Euler iQ.The third model, the Eula White Cat, will go on sale in mid-July.
Euler achieved rapid sales growth in 2019.The sales volume of Euler brand reached 39,000 units in 2019, up 1,005.69% year-on-year.Among them, A total of 28,000 Euler R12019 were sold.Euler iQ sold 11,000 vehicles.
In May this year, Euler sold 2,333 new cars, up 32% month-on-month;A total of 6801 units were sold from January to May.During the epidemic, Euler took online livestream to sell cars. In March, nearly 2,000 vehicles were ordered.The Tmall flagship store in April placed a 16-day order for 2,212 units.
