Jaguar Land Rover (JLR), a British luxury car company, announced its latest sales performance in China: continuing the trend of steady growth at the end of the first quarter of this year, JLR's sales in China rose month by month in the second quarter. By the end of June, JLR and Jaguar land Rover both achieved a four-month consecutive month-on-month sales growth, with June sales up 10% compared with May.

The land Rover brand was strong, with Sales of Range Rover up 108% in June from a year earlier and range Rover Sport up nearly 30%. The Range Rover Vein and the New Land Rover Discovery Sport, launched in March, both recorded four consecutive months of month-on-month growth. The overall performance of the Jaguar brand was equally impressive, with XFL Posting a 22% increase in quarterly sales over the same period last year, and XEL and E-Pace Posting four consecutive months of growth. It is worth mentioning that f-Type, the New England Max sports car launched in April, is also popular among consumers.

The all-new Land Rover Defender, the much-anticipated 2020 heavyweight model, debuted in China in June with a pre-sale price. The all-new models in homage to the classic at the same time, for hard aesthetic Design concepts, relying on the new ultimate all-terrain suvs exclusive platform, together with many intelligent science and technology, for the 21st century intelligent digital ultimate all-terrain drive stands again, benchmarking and recently won the world famous automobile Design community Car Design News Car of the year award (Production Car of the year). At present, the new Land Rover Defender has received 2000 orders in a single month worldwide. The Chinese market has also received a warm response and the pre-sale situation is good. This car will be officially launched and sold at the Chengdu Auto Show in July.

JLR's operations around the world also recovered in the second quarter. So far, factories around the world have resumed production, with the exception of Fort Bromwich in The UK, which is due to reopen in August. More than 95% of dealers worldwide are fully or partially open. JLR's strong presence in China will also continue to fuel the global recovery.
