Foton heavy truck delivered a strong performance in the first three quarters of 2026, with cumulative sales exceeding 125,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 20.4%. Its core brand Auman Heavy Truck recorded sales of over 73,000 units, up 13% year on year, achieving solid growth across multiple market segments.

Tractor units maintained stable performance. From January to September, Auman gas-powered tractor sales surpassed 20,000 units, rising 13% year on year, while fuel tractor sales exceeded 12,000 units. Sales of heavy cargo trucks climbed roughly 10% year on year. The special-purpose vehicle segment saw explosive growth: its September sales surged 284% year on year, and Q1-Q3 total sales neared 10,000 units with a sharp year-on-year growth of 175%. Auman Xinghui, the high-value product line, sold more than 10,000 units in the first three quarters, representing a year-on-year growth of over 70% and serving as a key sales driver.

New energy business has become a major growth engine for Auman. Auman pure electric heavy truck sales rose 52% year on year in September, and overall new energy heavy truck sales jumped more than 43% year on year for Jan-Sep. In product development, the Auman Galaxy 5M electric drive axle was specially optimized for port operation, coal and sand haulage, with energy consumption and reliability verified in port trials. In September, the Auman Galaxy pure electric dump truck was launched and delivered in batches to tap the urban construction muck transport market.

Foton Auman has established a dual product line portfolio of “Galaxy + Xinghui” for heavy trucks and a dual-platform layout of “Galaxy + Xingxing” for special-purpose vehicles. In September, Auman Xinghui full-energy product series and high-horsepower fuel heavy trucks were launched and delivered. The Auman Galaxy 7 also supported the transportation mission of the Gravity-1 (Yao-3) carrier rocket. For special-purpose vehicles, Foton Auman unveiled the new Galaxy-based special vehicle products in mid-June, covering refitting scenarios including sanitation, concrete mixers and truck-mounted cranes.

Looking at the overall industry, China’s heavy truck market reached cumulative sales of around 926,000 units in Jan-Sep 2026, up 13% year on year. The penetration rate of new energy heavy trucks hit 33.7% in the first half of the year. For Q4, Foton Auman will focus on four priorities: scaling up new energy vehicle sales, deepening the gas-powered truck market, achieving breakthroughs in special-purpose vehicles, and accelerating the large-scale rollout of the Xinghui product line to hit full-year targets.
