         On the other hand, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and other departments have examined and approved the new Version of Measures for The Parallel Management of Average Fuel Consumption of Passenger Vehicle Enterprises and Points for New Energy Vehicles, and for the first time proposed the concept of "Passenger Vehicles with low fuel consumption" and clarified preferential rules for points accounting, which will take effect from January 1, 2021. Petrol-electric hybrid models, such as Toyota and Honda, will be included in the environmental protection category under the new regulation, which will provide a positive route for hybrid technology and encourage more Chinese car companies to pay more attention to hybrid technology.
