According to the latest news from the National Bureau of Statistics website, in September, the value added of the industrial enterprises above designated size increased by 6.9% year-on-year in real terms (the following value-added growth rates are the actual growth rates after deducting price factors), which is 1.3 percentage points higher than in August. In terms of different industries, in September, 35 of the 41 major industries maintained year-on-year growth in added value, of which the automobile manufacturing industry increased by 16.4%, ranking first.

    In the third quarter of this year, the profits of industrial enterprises above designated size increased by 15.9% year-on-year, and the growth rate was 11.1 percentage points higher than in the second quarter. From January to September, the total profits of industrial enterprises above designated size fell by 2.4% year-on-year, and the rate of decline narrowed by 2 percentage points from the previous eight months. Among them, the industry with the most new profits was also the automobile manufacturing industry, with a year-on-year increase of 53.8%.

    From the perspective of enterprise scale, with the gradual recovery of investment and consumer demand, the profits of the petroleum, steel, automobile and other industries are quickly restored, and the profits of large enterprises have rebounded significantly.

    As the national epidemic prevention and control situation continues to improve, the recovery of automobile consumption has been obvious since May.
