The Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology has released the Development Plan for the Hydrogen fuel cell Vehicle Industry in Beijing (2020-2025). It is mentioned that Beijing should be built into a hydrogen fuel cell technology innovation center with international influence, a key component manufacturing center and a high-end application promotion center, and strive to build a hydrogen fuel cell vehicle industry innovation highland featuring "global leading, domestic cutting-edge, regional coordination and radiation development".

        In order to achieve the above overall goals, Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology formulated two phased goals. By 2023, we will ensure major demonstration projects for the Winter Olympics and Paralympics, cultivate 3-5 leading enterprises in the industry chain of HYDROGEN fuel cell vehicles with international influence, strive to promote 3,000 hydrogen fuel cell vehicles and build 37 hydrogen refueling stations, and bring the cumulative output value of the whole industry chain of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles to over 8.5 billion yuan.

        2025 years ago, 5-10 has the international influence of hydrogen fuel cell car industry leading enterprises, the formation of hydrogen fuel cell car key components and equipment manufacturing industry cluster, the construction of two international first-class research and development of hydrogen fuel cell industry innovation platform, promote scientific and technological innovation and industrialization of ground depth fusion, strive for hydrogen fuel cell car cumulative promotion rate more than 10000 vehicles, and the new filling station 37 (74), the formation of city bus, tourist transport, heavy cargo and medium-sized logistics with the combination of structure, hydrogen fuel cell vehicles complete industry chain accumulative total output value reached 24 billion yuan.

         From the perspective of spatial layout, the above plan will be based on the different regional characteristics of Beijing to plan the different functional positioning in the development of hydrogen energy automobile industry. To be specific, Fangshan District will combine With Tianjin and Hebei region, based on the coordination of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, give play to the advantage of hydrogen energy resources, and form a multi-channel integrated hydrogen supply chain around Beijing. Haidian District and Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone will give full play to their ability to transform scientific and technological achievements, and build a national leading hydrogen energy industry core technology innovation axis. Yanqing district and Changping District will become the key demonstration areas in the north, and Daxing District will become the key demonstration areas in the south, and form a new form of hydrogen fuel cell vehicle industry application covering multiple points in the city and radiating Tianjin and Hebei
