In passenger cars, Dongfeng sold 285,400 new vehicles in October. Among them, the self-owned brand passenger cars sold 44,300 units; Sales of joint venture brand passenger cars reached 241,100 units, up 10.2 percent year on year. That is to say, in October this year, dongfeng joint venture brand growth is obvious, and the gap with independent brands further open.
Of course, in the joint venture brand, The Japanese joint venture still plays the leading role. To be specific, Dongfeng Nissan sold 118,800 units in October, up 10.3% year on year. Dongfeng Honda sold 87,000 vehicles, up 20.3% year on year; Dongfeng Yueda Kia sold 27,600 units, up 12.8 percent year on year.
In addition, among the self-owned brands, the total sales volume of self-owned brands is 44,300, and the average sales volume of each brand is about 10,000. To be specific, Dongfeng Fengshen sold 8800 units in October; Dongfeng Scenery sales 17,300 units; Dongfeng Fashion sales of 84 000; Dongfeng Qichen sold 90, 200 units.
In general, thanks to a series of policies issued by national and local governments to promote and stabilize automobile consumption, as well as industrial enterprises' active actions to stabilize the industrial chain, the automobile industry performed well in October. But specific to Dongfeng Automobile, the joint venture brand should continue to maintain the existing advantages, but how to improve the market performance of the independent brand is the top priority.
