    On the evening of December 1, the new Lynk & Co 01 was officially launched. The new car has launched a total of 5 models: Pro, Yao Pro, Halo, Dark Night and PHEV Halo, with a price range of 179,800 to 222,700, and they will be simultaneously launched in China and Europe.

    "To build an invincible SUV within 300,000 yuan", Zhu Ling, chief product director of the new Lynk & Co 01 and vice president of the Lynk & Co Brand Research Institute, introduced the positioning of the new Lynk & Co 01 at the press conference. As a mid-term facelift, the all-new Lynk & Co 01 has undergone a significant upgrade in terms of appearance, interior and vehicle systems.

    In terms of appearance, the front air intake grille of the new Lynk & Co 01 changed from the previous through-type design to the dot-matrix design, which looks more three-dimensional. The through-type trim strips above the air intake grille are used to distinguish the identities of different models. The fuel version has a white trim, and the plug-in hybrid model has a blue trim. In addition, the new Lynk & Co 01 is also equipped with 20-inch personalized wheels, dual-lens high-performance full-LED module headlights, and all-series exposed dual-exhaust sports tailpipes.

    The new Lynk & Co 01 has not changed much in terms of body size. Its length, width and height are 4549mm, 1860mm and 1689mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2734mm. Compared with the current model, the new car remains unchanged in terms of height and wheelbase, with the length and width increased by 37mm and 3mm respectively.

    In the interior, the front instrument panel of the new car uses a through-type air outlet design, the central control screen size is upgraded from the original 10.2 inches to 12.7 inches, and the physical knob under the screen is cancelled. The new car also uses technology and environmentally friendly interior panels and Nubuck suede seats.

    According to Zhu Ling's introduction at the press conference, the computing power of the new car is provided by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820A chip, which improves the overall performance by nearly 8 times. The L2+ level automatic driving assistance system of the new Lynk & Co 01 is more comprehensive, with new features such as a full-scene road assisted cruise system, ultra-clear panoramic image and independent GPU image processor.

    In terms of power, the new Lynk & Co 01 offers two versions of 2.0T turbocharged engines. The maximum power of the T4 power engine is 160kW, the peak torque is 325N·m, and the braking distance of 100 kilometers is ≤35m; the maximum power of the T5 power engine is 187kW, the peak torque is 350N·m, and it only takes 6.7s to accelerate to 100 kilometers. Both engines match Aisin's 8-speed automatic transmission.

    The PHEV model of the new Lynk & Co 01 is equipped with a plug-in hybrid system based on a 1.5T three-cylinder engine and is matched with a 7DCT-H wet dual-clutch transmission. The pure electric cruising range of PHEV models can reach 81km, the comprehensive fuel consumption is 1.4L/100km, and it supports 4+1 multiple driving modes.

    Lynk & Co 01 is Lynk & Co's first model to enter Europe. As early as March 2018, when Lynk & Co. announced its European strategy in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, Lynk & Co. stated that the first model Lynk & Co 01 to enter the European market will be officially sold in the European market in 2020.

    At the end of September this year, Lynk & Co further announced its "Europe Plan", that is, to transform from an "automaker" to a "travel service provider." According to the plan, in Europe, Lynk & Co has a variety of ways to use it, users can buy, rent, long-term lease or short-term lease. On October 20th, Lynk&Co officially opened its first European experience store in Hamsterdam, the Netherlands.

    Lynk & Co’s official data shows that in October, Lynk & Co’s monthly sales reached 21,868, an increase of approximately 55.78% year-on-year and an increase of approximately 16.66% month-on-month. It achieved double growth for seven consecutive months, setting the highest monthly sales record again. At the same time, Lin Jie, vice president of Geely Automobile Group and general manager of Lynk & Co., said at the scene that Lynk & Co has been listed for three years and the number of users has exceeded 400,000. The new Lynk & Co 01, which was launched simultaneously in China and Europe, may help Lynk & Co's sales to grow again.
