These full transportation industry solutions include forklifts, electric buses, electric trucks, and electric passenger vehicles, which will be launched in the future. Listed on the European market. "In addition, because we have very powerful battery energy storage technology, we have developed solar panels and energy storage batteries, etc.. Our European headquarters are in the United Kingdom and the Netherlands, and we have manufacturing centers in France and Hungary. The main partners include ADL and so on. This kind of cooperation has been started in 2013. Our main purpose is to create London single-deck and double-deck buses, both of which are electrified. At the same time, this is also an industry first. We are also working with our manufacturing partners to create more jobs in the UK in Europe. We think that developing our design in the UK and developing our manufacturing in the UK is a very important strategic direction." He Yipeng said.

    It is reported that BYD launched a double-decker bus in London in 2015 and completely converted the Waterloo garage (the first bus terminal in Europe) from diesel to electric in 2016. At present, BYD has delivered more than 500 buses in the UK and has achieved an operating mileage of 25 million kilometers, reducing 68,000 tons of carbon emissions. In addition, BYD has delivered 246 electric buses in the Netherlands, which can reduce 15,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions each year. BYD has also provided more than 100 electric buses to New Zealand.

    In addition to providing electric buses to the local area, BYD also actively cooperates with the local area. For example, when BYD established a production base in the UK, it cooperated with the local ADL company; another example, BYD also cooperated with the British Power Grid and LEEDS, so that electric buses have a very good interaction with the local power grid.

    In the future, BYD's entire bus will be manufactured in the UK. The change brought about by this decision is that the number of employees dispatched from China to the United Kingdom has decreased significantly, and the number of employees recruited locally in the United Kingdom has increased significantly; from the perspective of battery manufacturing, BYD is also developing more full life cycles in European countries. management.

    BYD has released a "7+4 strategy" for the European market, with a view to achieving electrification in all scenarios.
