Recently, Audi CEO Dussmann stated at the Berlin Climate Conference that Audi will only launch new pure electric models on the global market from 2026, and will gradually stop production of traditional internal combustion engine vehicles by 2033.
Starting in 2026, Audi will only launch new models with pure electric power in the global market. As part of its strategic adjustment, Audi is accelerating its transition to electrification. By 2033, Audi will phase out the production of internal combustion engines. Its goal is to achieve zero emissions by 2050 at the latest.
Dussman said that after 2033, demand in the Chinese market will continue to grow, which is why Audi models are produced locally in China. By 2025, Audi's goal is to have more than 20 electric models.
