SAIC Motor sold 3.38 million from January to July

  From January to July this year, SAIC's terminal retail sales reached 3.384 million vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 23.8%, exceeding the industry average growth rate and continuing to maintain its leading position.

  

  Blue Whale Auto News on August 6, SAIC's wholesale sales in July reached 353,000, an increase of 7.3% from June. Among them, SAIC Volkswagen and SAIC GM achieved a month-on-month increase of 7.7% and 5.8%, respectively. SAIC's wholesale sales rose month-on-month, and the response to the shortage of chips has achieved practical results. From January to July this year, SAIC's terminal retail sales reached 3.384 million vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 23.8%, exceeding the industry average growth rate and continuing to maintain its leading position.

  

  In the new energy market, SAIC Motor’s new energy vehicles sold 48,000 vehicles in July, an increase of 138.1% year-on-year. Among them, SAIC Motor Passenger Cars Roewe, MG, and R cars sold more than 13,000 new energy vehicles, an increase of 219.4% year-on-year, and sales exceeded 10,000 for five consecutive months; SAIC Volkswagen sold nearly 4,000 new energy vehicles, an increase of 80.4 year-on-year %, the sales of the "ID electric family" increased by 51.9% month-on-month; SAIC-GM-Wuling-Wuling and Baojun sold more than 27,000 new energy vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 135.2%. From January to July this year, the wholesale sales of SAIC's new energy vehicles reached 344,000, a year-on-year increase of 337.2%.

  

  In overseas markets, SAIC’s overseas wholesale sales reached 51,000 vehicles in July, doubling year-on-year. Among them, the overseas sales of the MG brand exceeded 26,000, a year-on-year increase of 80.1%, maintaining the long-term overseas sales champion of a single brand in China; the overseas sales of the Maxus brand reached nearly 5,000, a year-on-year increase of 130%. Especially in developed markets such as Europe, Australia and New Zealand, the MG brand sold more than 8,000 vehicles in July, accounting for more than 30% of its total overseas sales. From January to July this year, SAIC’s overseas wholesale sales reached 309,000 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 101.1%.
